2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use the Dress Live mobile application on iOS and Android (the “App”), including AI Try-On, AI Measurements, Live Try-On and the virtual wardrobe, and when you visit our website. It applies to shoppers and to boutique staff who use the App.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments for purchases are handled by the boutique or its payment processor.
Device permissions
- Camera — to take photos for AI Try-On and AI Measurements and to stream video during Live Try-On.
- Microphone — for audio during Live Try-On only.
- Photo library — to upload an existing photo; we only access the photos you select.
- Notifications — optional, for appointment reminders and messages from boutiques.
- Location — optional, approximate, to find boutiques near you.
You can withdraw any permission at any time in your device settings. Some features will then be unavailable.

We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Size recommendations are suggestions that you remain free to accept or ignore.
5. Photos, body data & AI
How AI Try-On and AI Measurements work
Your photo is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our servers, where our AI detects your body shape and pose to (a) render the selected garment on your photo and (b) estimate your measurements and a recommended size. The result is returned to your device and stored in your account so you can review it.
- We process your photos only for the features you request. We do not use your photos or measurements for advertising, and we never sell them.
- We do not use facial recognition to identify you and we do not create a biometric template that could identify you.
- We do not use your photos to train or improve our AI models unless you give a separate, explicit opt-in consent in the App.
- Try-on images and measurements are visible to a boutique only when you choose to share them (for example during a Live Try-On, a reservation or an order).
- You can delete any photo, try-on image or your measurements at any time in the App; deletion on our servers follows within 30 days.
6. Live Try-On video calls
Live Try-On connects you by video with a boutique advisor. Audio and video are transmitted in real time through our video infrastructure provider and are not recorded by Dress Live. Try-on renderings shown during the call are stored in your wardrobe only if you save them. The boutique advisor is bound by the boutique’s own confidentiality obligations; please do not share more information than needed for your appointment.
7. Who we share data with
- Boutiques you interact with — when you book a Live Try-On, an appointment, a reservation or an order, the boutique receives what it needs to serve you: your name, contact details, recommended size, the items concerned and, if you choose, your try-on images. Boutiques are independent controllers of the data they receive.
- Service providers acting on our instructions under data-processing agreements: cloud hosting and storage, AI inference, real-time video infrastructure, email and push-notification delivery, crash reporting and analytics, customer support tools.
- Sign-in providers (Apple, Google) if you choose to sign in with them.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale — you will be informed beforehand.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
8. International transfers
We store your data in the European Union. Where a service provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where necessary. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards at the contact address below.
9. How long we keep data

10. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls limited to staff who need access, logging, regular security reviews and contractual obligations for our providers. Photos and measurements are stored separately from your identity data where possible. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR and French data-protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
- give instructions about your data after your death;
- lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country of residence.
To exercise your rights, write to contact@ecosysteme.ai. We respond within one month; we may ask you to confirm your identity.
12. Deleting your account
Three ways to delete your account and data
- In the App: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm.
- On the web: follow the steps at dresslive.app/delete-account.html.
- By email: send “Delete my account” from the email address linked to your account to contact@ecosysteme.ai.
Your account, photos, try-on images, measurements, wardrobe and messages are deleted within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example invoices for orders, for 10 years) and, in pseudonymised form, security logs.
13. Children
The App is not intended for children under 15, the age of digital consent in France. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Tracking & advertising
Dress Live contains no third-party advertising. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites and we do not share data with advertising networks. Because we do not track you, the App does not request permission to track under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. Analytics and crash data are collected under a pseudonymous identifier for the sole purpose of operating and improving the App.
15. Cookies on our website
Our website uses only strictly necessary storage: your language preference is stored locally on your device (“dl-lang”). We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies on the website. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie banner is displayed.
16. Changes
We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The date at the top indicates the latest version. For material changes we will inform you in the App or by email before they take effect.
